Thinking about an HPV vaccine in Leicester?
We offer private HPV vaccine appointments in Leicester at our Queens Road pharmacy in Clarendon Park. The calendar below is for adults aged 25 and over. Our pharmacist will talk through your vaccination history and health before you decide whether to go ahead.
Perhaps you missed the vaccine at school, have moved to the UK or are unsure whether an earlier dose is enough. You don’t need to work that out alone. Bring any records you have and we can help you understand your options.

HPV vaccine Leicester: which appointment should you choose?
Our private appointment is at 78 Queens Road, Clarendon Park, Leicester, LE2 1TU. For the current price, call 0116 2707140 before booking. Ask about the cost per dose and the total for your course, including any consultation fee.
Being over 25 does not always mean you need to pay. Gay, bisexual and other men who have sex with men can get an NHS HPV vaccine through sexual health or HIV clinics up to their 46th birthday. Some other people at higher risk also qualify. If you are under 25 and missed your school vaccination, you may still be eligible for an NHS catch-up appointment.
Check the NHS eligibility guidance or speak to your GP or sexual health clinic first. The booking calendar here is for our private service, rather than the NHS programme.
- Check whether you qualify for free vaccination before paying.
- Ask us for the price of the full course, not just one visit.
- Tell us if you have already had an HPV vaccine.
- Speak to us first if you are under 25.
- Confirm the Leicester branch on your appointment details.
What can HPV vaccination help prevent?
HPV is a common virus, usually passed on through intimate skin contact. Some types can cause genital warts or cancers, including cervical and anal cancer. Vaccination helps protect against certain HPV types.
Vaccination helps prevent new infections. It does not clear an existing HPV infection or treat genital warts. You may still benefit if you have encountered one HPV type, because the vaccine can protect against other types. Our pharmacist can discuss what that means for you.
If you receive cervical screening invitations, keep attending after vaccination. The vaccine does not protect against every type of HPV that can cause cervical cancer.
How many HPV vaccine appointments will you need?
Your age, health and previous doses all matter. NHS programmes and private courses may use different schedules, so please don’t assume that a friend’s vaccination plan will be the same as yours.
The Gardasil 9 patient leaflet describes a three-dose course for people starting at 15 or older. Some NHS programmes use fewer doses. We will confirm the vaccine, number of doses and timing for your private course before treatment. Do not book several visits at guessed intervals.
If you started a course elsewhere, bring the dates and vaccine name if possible. An old record, or information from your GP, can help us check what you have already received.

HPV vaccine in Leicester: common questions
Can men have the HPV vaccine?
Yes. HPV can affect men as well as women. Some men qualify for NHS vaccination through sexual health or HIV clinics. If you are considering a private appointment, we can discuss your health and vaccination history first.
What if I cannot remember having it at school?
Ask your GP or school immunisation team for your record. Tell us what you know before booking. We can review the information with you rather than assuming you need a new course.
Is the calendar for everyone aged 25 and over?
It is the adult 25+ appointment route at our Leicester pharmacy. We still need to check whether vaccination is right for you. Call us with your age and any questions before booking, particularly if you are over 45.
Can I just walk in?
Please call 0116 2707140 first. We can check appointment options, explain the price and help you choose the right visit.
